Meet the artists behind the prints

The 15 artists on this page list their own work. They choose which pieces go up, they set the price, and they sign every print that ships. ArtMarket handles the storefront, the payment and the logistics; it does not licence images from a stock library or commission a print house to fill a catalogue.

That model is why the gallery is 130 works rather than ten thousand, and why the same image is not resold under three other brand names. It is also why an artist page here reads like a portfolio rather than a product feed.

Each work is a limited edition of 25, and the artist signs each print by hand — usually on the reverse, so the signature does not compete with the image when the piece is framed. Editions are not reprinted once exhausted.

The signature is the difference between an original fine-art print and a poster of the same picture. It ties a specific physical sheet to the person who made the image, which is what a print has instead of the one-off status of a painting.

Every artist page opens with one of that artist's works, a short account of what the practice does, and ArtMarket's own notes on what to look for in it, then lists the full portfolio. Portfolios vary in size from a handful of works to nearly thirty, and a small one is not a lesser one — several of the strongest bodies of work here are the shortest.

Prices across the gallery run €65–€295, and an individual artist's range usually sits inside a much narrower band, set by the formats they print in. If you find one piece you like, the rest of that artist's page is the fastest route to a second.

Buying two works by the same artist is also the easiest way to make a pair or a gallery wall cohere. Prints by one maker already share a palette, a print process and a way of framing a subject, so they hang together without the deliberate matching that a wall assembled from 15 different hands needs.
