Frequently asked questions
Everything buyers actually ask — how prints are made and signed, what shipping costs, how to size a frame, and how returns work. If yours is not here, the gallery answers email within one business day.
Buying & authenticity
What you get, how it is signed, how it is priced.
Are the prints signed by the artist?
Yes. Every print is hand-signed by the artist who made the work, usually on the reverse so the signature does not sit inside the image area. Nothing in the catalogue is machine-signed or sold unsigned.
Does the print come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, with every work at every price. A certificate is filled in and signed by hand and travels in the tube with the print. It names the work and the artist, your number out of the 25 in the edition, the printed format and the date, so the card describes your particular copy rather than the edition in general.
How do I know the edition of 25 is real?
Each product page shows how many of the 25 have actually sold, and that counter moves when an order is paid for rather than being set by hand. Your certificate carries your number in the run, and when a run is finished the work is not reprinted in that format.
Are these original works or reproductions?
They are original fine-art prints: the artist produces and signs them as part of a deliberate print run, rather than a poster reproduced from a painting held elsewhere. Each listing names the artist and the run it belongs to.
What paper are the prints made on?
Premium photographic paper with archival print quality, chosen for sharp detail, deep contrast and colour that holds over time. The same stock is used across the catalogue, so a €65 print is made on the same paper as the most expensive one.
Why are the prices lower than a gallery?
Work is sold direct by the artists rather than through a gallery taking a commission on each sale. The saving is in the distribution, not in the materials or the production.
Can I commission a piece or ask for a different size?
Sometimes — it depends on the artist and the work. Email [email protected] with the piece you have in mind and we will ask the artist directly.

How much does shipping cost?

Each additional print in the same order adds €2 within the Netherlands, €4 across the European Union, €6 to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, €10 to the United States, €15 to the Gulf states and €18 to East and Southeast Asia. How are prints packaged?
Rolled in a rigid protective tube, never folded and never creased. Prints ship unframed, which is what makes safe international carriage possible at this price.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking link is emailed as soon as the parcel is handed to the carrier.
Framing & care
Sizing a frame, hanging, and keeping colour stable.
Do prints arrive framed?
No. Prints ship unframed and rolled so you can choose framing that suits the room, and so the work is not at risk of glass damage in transit.
What frame size should I buy?
Each listing states the print dimensions. Buy a frame matching those dimensions exactly if you want a flush fit, or one size up if you want a mount border around the image.
How should I care for a print?
Keep it out of direct sunlight, avoid damp rooms, and handle it by the edges before framing. Glazed framing away from a south-facing window will keep colour stable for decades.
Returns & refunds
The window, the conditions, and how a refund is paid.
Can I return a print?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to start a return on any print in original, unframed, resaleable condition.
How do I start a return?
Email [email protected] with your order number. We reply with the return address and confirm what to send back.
When do I get my money back?
Once the returned print arrives and has been inspected, the refund is released to the card used for the order within 3–5 business days.
What if my print arrives damaged?
Send a photograph of the damage and the tube it arrived in. A damaged or faulty print is replaced or refunded in full, and we cover the return carriage.
