Bonaque - The Watchful Raven

Bonaque · 40 × 30 cm · Contemporary photographic print

A raven stands perched on a dead tree branch, its dark silhouette contrasting against the vast, snow-covered landscape. The mountains in the distance, shrouded in clouds, add an air of mystery to the scene. The monochromatic tones enhance the solemnity of the moment, with the raven symbolizing watchfulness and solitude in the quiet, expansive wilderness. The image evokes a sense of foreboding beauty, where nature’s harshness and the bird’s quiet presence create a powerful, serene composition.

The Artist: Born and raised in the remote mountain village of Eldenholm, I found inspiration in the untouched landscapes that surrounded me. My artistic journey began at the Solhavn Academy of Visual Arts, where I specialized in nature-inspired photography and fine art. I later deepened my craft through an immersive program at the Nordfjell Institute of Contemporary Imagery, focusing on black-and-white photography techniques.

Over the years, my work has been sought after by renowned brands such as Lunaris Outdoor Gear, EverPeak Apparel, and Aurora Prints Co., where my photographs have been featured in campaigns that celebrate the harmony between humans and nature. Collaborating with these brands allowed me to refine my ability to merge commercial photography with the raw essence of fine art.

A lifelong passion for wildlife has driven me to explore the symbiotic relationship between animals and their environments. My work seeks to capture fleeting, poignant moments that reveal the untamed beauty of nature.

How this print is packed

Rolled in a rigid protective tube, never folded or creased. The tube is rigid rather than card, capped at both ends, and the print is wrapped in tissue before it goes in. Shipped unframed so you can choose framing that suits the room, which is what makes safe international carriage possible at this price.

Customs & import duty

Orders shipped outside the EU customs union may attract import duty or local sales tax. That covers the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, the United States, the Gulf states and East and Southeast Asia. These charges are levied by the destination country on arrival, are not included in the price at checkout, and are the buyer's responsibility.

Returns

You can return an unframed print in original condition within 14 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method. Return postage is paid by the customer, except where a print arrives damaged or faulty — then we cover the postage and replace or refund it in full.
